     For enterprises using industrial boilers, controlling NOx emissions in flue gas is a significant challenge. Whether it is a coal-fired boiler, biomass boiler, or gas boiler, a certain amount of NOx is produced. So, what denitrification processes are used in boiler denitrification equipment? The mainstream denitrification processes in China mainly include SCR, SNCR, and PNCR. Below, we introduce the principles and process characteristics of SCR denitrification for biomass boilers:


      I. Basic Principles of SCR Denitrification Systems for Biomass Boilers

      The widely adopted SCR denitrification technology in China operates on the principle of selective catalytic reduction (SCR). Under specific temperature conditions and with the participation of a catalyst, a reducing agent is used to selectively reduce nitrogen oxides (NOx) in the flue gas into non-toxic, non-polluting nitrogen (N2) and water (H2O). The reaction temperature for SCR denitrification in biomass boiler flue gas is controlled between 150°C and 450°C.


      II. Characteristics of SCR Denitrification Catalyst
      1. The SCR denitrification agent adopts a more suitable microporous volume, achieving an optimal balance between denitrification performance and wear resistance in the flue gas denitrification process.
      2. The SCR denitrification equipment is designed with a more appropriate microporous distribution to ensure more stable denitrification performance.
      3. The catalyst uses more suitable active components, ensuring high denitrification efficiency while effectively suppressing the conversion rate of SO2/SO3.
      4. By adding a third component, the catalyst effectively suppresses the increase in the conversion rate of SO2/SO3 during operation.
      5. The product's activity is relatively uniform; even if the surface is worn, the activity of the remaining part remains unchanged.
      6. The catalyst features low resistance, reducing operating costs.
      7. It exhibits high activity at low temperatures, resulting in a higher NOx removal rate.
      8. It has high water resistance.
      9. It possesses high-temperature corrosion resistance.
     10. It features high mechanical strength and thermal resistance.
